Shinhan artists watercolour paints are made in South Korea. The colour range seems to be similar to the ones in the Holbein range so there are some unusual names for some of the colours.
I bought a set of 32 x 15 ml tubes of these paints sometime ago to give them a try. I've been using them for a while now and I'm more than happy with them.
The colours are a little bright but the transparency, pigment loading and flow seem very good. They also seem to glaze reasonably well.
My only gripe is with some of the hues. They seem to be way off the colours that they are designed to imitate. eg. Cobalt blue hue is nothing like cobalt blue. It's more like phthalo blue red shade.
If you can get used to the colours the general quality is very good. These paints are also inexpensive compared to western brands.
